Adventures of Charles Darwin

Adventures of Charles Darwin is a 3-page worksheet set.  It is a Literacy and Science lesson pack for Grade 5 and 6 and into Year 7.  The language level is simplified so students can concentrate on the content.  Darwin’s journey took five years. He sailed westward to the Americas and south then into the Pacific Ocean.  He explored the coast and the hills of various countries and made important discoveries.  He collected specimens along the way.

This unit of work 

~provides students with a text to read,
~line drawings and a portrait of Charles Darwin as a young man.
~Text questions and word study follow the reading task.
~Students refer to an atlas for further infromation.

Suitable for any teaching and learning situation, from one-to-one to whole classroom.
